Canalling it again

Feb. 8, 2009

Hello Friends, and it is a great and happy day. On the marvelous Crystal Symphony having fun with the great Scott Peterson as cruise director. Wonderful guests, with of course a smattering of knuckleheads thrown into the mix to make it fun.
This new year of 2009 has its challenges with the economy on everyone's mind and people getting job cuts. It has hit the entertainment area, and I am just trusting in God and the talent he gave me to keep me above ground.
Went thru the Panama Canal two times in the last five days. Next time, I get to guide the ship!
Had dinner with Ricki and David from Memphis. They are great people and like my show. Ricki is a vocal therapist and has offered me some excellent tips. She also told me that if some guests do like my Bush puppet, I should wear it as a badge of honor!
Show is tomorrow night, be well all!

almost Christmas

Wow, friends and Neighbors, how is everyone?

Been awhile since I posted. Changes everywhere as my sometimes agent Barry Ball says.
The cruise industry is not using as many acts as before, and the audiences do not seem to laugh at political stuff.

But, on the Blessings side, all is well, my wife Cindy and our four legged beast Nixie are all well.
Headed to Aruba today and typing with a mashed end of my left finger. It smarts!
Have fun, and if shoes head to your head, duck!

Obama and McCain supporter

It was the birthday of Mark Merchant yesterday, Oct. 3, 2008. He is 54 years young.
Fifty is the new 35,  65 is the new 40 and Dead is the new Alive!

Hope all are well and life is great for you. Enjoying the sunshine with not a drop of rain in
the Atlanta area. Enjoying and savoring the moments of fun and love with my wife Cindy.

For my birthday, received from my wife a James Brown DVD, "I got the Feelin'"
This concert was recorded in Boston in April of 1968 right after Dr. King was killed.
James Brown as the ultimate showman kept the crowd in a funky soul mood and dealt
with overzealous police officers who were trying to clear the stage. Amazing what a calm
voice such an exciting performer possessed.

Cindy also paid for a massage for me from Karin, of Gwinnett Muscular Pain Center. A legit massage beats almost everything. An illegitimate massage beats everything.

Be well friends and family and fans. Thanks for the laughter and love!

Great evening in Washington, at http://www.fairelepont.com/

Sept. 20, 2008

Hello friends, audiences and unhappy Pisscopalians:

It was lovely and Blessed Summer entertaining in Alaska and in Europe on the wonderful cruise ships of Crystal and Celebrity. The summer was bookended with a wonderful show in Washington State at the winery of Faire Le Pont. Friends I met on Regent cruises, Debe' and Doug Brazil turned a fruit staging warehouse into a gorgeous winery and restaurant.
I entertained with Alonzo, George "W" and Wing Tip Shu.

If you are in Washington, or just want some wonderful wine check out their site.
Included is a photo of Marko and his other girl, Nixie. Nothing wrong is happening here.
Let me also take this time to endorse John McCain for president of the United States.
I do not like everything about him, but compared to the socialist leanings of Barrack Hussein Obama, it is a hands down dunk.

Be well, and write often!

Fondled by Paula Deen

Sept. 5, 2008

In Seattle, where the Celeb Infinity is berthed.
Paula Deen and her entourage of hungry fans were our guests and they were perfect.

In the elevator, Paula Deen fondled my chest. Still getting over the incredible buzz!
On to the new cruise!

One month, no Blog

August 29, 2008 in lovely Seattle.
How does this round eye lost SAT scoring white boy let one month go by without blogging and saying hello to his friends and fans? Not certain of the answer but it involves the gravitational pull of the earth and the Van Allen  belt of cosmic energy.
Back on the Celebrity Infinity and three weeks of Alaska cruises.

In the meantime, went to Europe for eight days on the Crystal Symphony. Helsinki, was lovely and fun.

Wife is super, the dog is great and Cindy and I are adopting a Swedish nympho.
Photo of my fav kid, Beren.
Be well, Marko and Wing Tip Shu
